The Chisca Project
is inspired by the Nuoro origins of the owner Francesca (Chischedda) and was born from the idea of creating fashion accessories by combining fabrics from the Sardinian textile tradition with fabrics from other countries.A passion for art, fashion, and travel becomes a source of inspiration in creating textile artifacts in which different cultures interact, telling the stories of different artisanal traditions.
"I thought of blending the textile weaves of Sardinian tradition—which I deeply love—with the colors and patterns of African, Japanese, Guatemalan fabrics, etc.
The different polychromies and decorations give a modern effect and create a spirit of solidarity and unity among peoples, which I deeply care about."
